Port-Vila, Vanuatu – Tuesday 5 August 2025: Individuals, families, students, and community members visited the booth of the National University of Vanuatu (NUV) during the Public Service Days held in Tanna from 31 July to 4 August 2025.
Throughout the event, visitors had the opportunity to explore the academic programs offered by NUV, gain insight into the registration process, and learn about the wide range of student services available. NUV staff were present and actively engaged with the public, answering questions, providing information, and offering guidance to prospective students interested in pursuing higher education.
NUV was proudly represented by both its Main Campus and its School of Education Campus, a presence that underscored the diversity and strength of its academic offerings.
Leading the delegation, Mr. Ben Boulekouran, Officer-in-Charge of the School of Education, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from the local community. “This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with people and showcase what NUV can offer. The enthusiasm and interest we saw reflect the community’s deep commitment to learning and progress, and we are here to support that journey,” he said.
NUV’s presence at the Public Service Day reflects its commitment to bringing higher education opportunities closer to communities across Vanuatu. As Vanuatu’s national university, NUV upholds values of accessibility, inclusion, quality education, and national development. The Vice-Chancellor said, “Higher education is not only about academic achievement – it’s about empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and building a stronger Vanuatu. We are honoured to engage directly with all the people who gathered for this event, and we look forward to welcoming many of them into the NUV community.”
