Port Vila, Vanuatu – Thursday 8 October 2026: The National University of Vanuatu (NUV) has welcomed, Andrea Molisa Boe, its new Human Resources Manager to strengthen its organizational workforce and better support its academic offerings. Bringing over 20 years of HR expertise from Le Lagon Warwick Resort, the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu and AJC, she will focus on cultivating a trusted, high-performing workplace culture at the Port Vila campus.

Her appointment comes as NUV expands key market-driven programs. New programmes are expected to be launched at the start of the 2027 academic year. While academic faculty handle curriculum design, her HR leadership will directly improve how these programs are delivered by transforming how the university manages its human capital.

She will partner closely with management to secure elite faculty. This means designing strategies to attract, retain, and support top-tier lecturers and technical experts who possess the specialized skills needed to teach these advanced courses.

She will also focus heavily on empowering academic staff. By engaging directly with professional and teaching teams, she will build an accessible, solution-focused HR environment that encourages continuous professional development.

Ultimately, these efforts will directly optimize educational delivery. Fostering a stable, well-supported workplace translates into stronger student services, reliable course execution, and highly employable graduates.

By building a resilient internal team, the new Human Resources Manager ensures that NUV’s human capital is strong enough to fully back the university’s growing academic ambitions.
