Course Description

The Certificate IV in Education – Early Childhood Care Teaching is a one-year program that focuses on the professional training of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) teachers. The program is accredited by the Vanuatu Qualification Authority, and it aims to develop skills and competencies necessary to teach children at early age from K1 to K3.

Entry Requirement

Admission to the program requires students to have achieved:

  • Certificate III or higher in any vocational subject/area from recognised institutions
  • LLN skill level and Band 4 of the National Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Framework
  • At least 3-5 years of industry and/or work experience in the ECCE area
  • Basic Information and Communications Technology (ICT) skills

  3. Fill in your personal information accurately
  4. Collect the required documents:
    –    Identity document (national ID card, driving license, VNPF card…)
    –    Birth certificate
    –    A copy of your Baccalaureate degree, SPFSC, VNUEC or DAEU degree and your Result Slip
    –    Relevant transcripts
  5. You will be notified by email to come and complete your registration if your application has been approved.
