The National University of Vanuatu’s (NUV) Advanced Diploma programs are uniquely designed to address specialised issues addressing climate change challenges and the training needs of Vanuatu.
Using an interdisciplinary approach fully aligned with national and regional plans, the Climate Resilience & Humanitarian Action (CRHA) Advanced Diploma programs will provide Vanuatu professionals and students with much-needed skills in humanitarian action, climate change adaptation, disaster response and recovery, and climate resilience policy and administration.
In 2026, only one option is offered: Advanced Diploma in Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) & Disaster Response Recovery (DRR). The Poster below describes the pathway towards this training program.
Students can enter this two-year (240-credit) program by fulfilling the requirements of the Diploma in CRHA, the courses in Project and Program Management, the specialisation courses corresponding to the Professional Micro-Credential in Resilience to Climate Change, and an applied research project or an internship component.
Where applicable, students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning, covering courses taken elsewhere or other related experience.
