DESCRIPTION:The National University of Vanuatu (NUV) invites the public to 
 attend the Forum of Influential Women\, taking place on 12–13 May 2026 a
 t the NUV Auditorium in Port Vila. Organised by the Observatoire francopho
 ne pour le développement inclusif par le genre (OFDIG) in partnership wit
 h NUV and regional stakeholders\, the forum will bring together leaders\, 
 educators\, researchers\, activists\, entrepreneurs\, and development part
 ners from across the Pacific.\nThe two-day event will explore women’s ri
 ghts\, leadership\, education\, gender equality\, and women’s participat
 ion in decision-making through panel discussions\, conferences\, and exper
 ience-sharing sessions. Participants will engage with inspiring speakers f
 rom government institutions\, civil society\, universities\, and regional 
 organisations.\nThe forum is open to students\, professionals\, and member
 s of the public interested in advancing inclusive development and empoweri
 ng women in the Pacific.\nSupported by the Université du Québec à Montr
 éal (UQAM)\, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)\, OFDIG\,
